Miniatures Workshop
Have you ever seen some of the incredible paint jobs people can do with their miniatures sets and wondered “How can they pull that off?” Well, here is your chance to find out for yourself. The Hidden Lair will be hosting a Miniatures Workshop on Saturday, November 22 at 3pm where you can come in and learn to paint just like the pros do it. Everyone who attends will be given a free miniature to paint for themselves and given the chance to ask whatever questions or seek any advise they might need on how to make their mini look just as good as the ones you see in the BattleTech tournaments.
The event is completely free, all the supplies you need – the miniature itself, brushes, paints, and more – will be provided for you, and at the end of the event not only will you have gained some experience in how to do it, you will even have a start to your future miniatures collection with the very miniature you just painted. It's yours as thanks for coming in and taking part.
We know that miniatures games can seem intimidating to new players, especially at first when you see the amount of fine detail that goes into a lot of these figures, but we want to show you how you can make your own minis look just as good with just a little bit of practice. Not only that, but you can come in, learn about several of the various minis games played in the area, and maybe even join in a game with other local players. We are always looking to help you find a game. If you want to play, we want to help you make that happen.
There are a lot of great miniatures games out there from Warhammer and Warhammer 40k to BattleTech and WarMachine to Anima Tactics. If you have ever been interested in seeing what it is like to play these sorts of games, this is the perfect chance to come in and find out.
We hope to see you there.

Also be sure to stop in each and every Friday for Friday Night Magic at The Hidden Lair and Thursdays for Shadowrun.
