Warhammer 40k Store Championship – September 2025

This past weekend, The Hidden Lair hosted our Warhammer 40,000 Store Championship, and the turnout was fantastic! Players battled through multiple rounds of intense games, and the tables were alive with massive armies, towering war machines, and some of the best-painted forces we’ve seen all year.

🏅 The Champions

• Gold Champion – Elliott:   He fought his way to the top with a commanding performance. His army control and tactical play were unmatched throughout the event.

• Silver Champion – Andrew: Andrew not only claimed second place but also took home Best Painted Army with a beautifully finished force that wowed the judges and other players alike.

• Bronze Champion – Josh: Josh battled fiercely all day to secure his spot in the top three.
  

⚔️ The Armies & Battles

The event featured a wide range of forces, each bringing their unique playstyles to the battlefield:

• Necrons with their unyielding durability and relentless advance.

• Chaos Knights & Daemons, towering engines of destruction supported by waves of corrupted warriors.

• Orks, swarming the battlefield with boyz, buggies, and even a massive Stompa.

• Tyranids, pushing forward with monstrous creatures and endless hordes.

• Space Marines, including loyalist forces bristling with tanks and dreadnoughts.

Each round provided cinematic moments—from last-minute objective grabs to brutal close-combat duels—that reminded us why we love this hobby.
