Last Week Recap: Battletech Skirmishes and Warmachine Warfare
Last week was another action-packed week at The Hidden Lair, filled with strategy, dice rolls, and mech-scale mayhem!
Tuesday Night: Battletech
Thursday brought out the MechWarriors as players gathered for another round of Battletech. Tables were covered in terrain, cities under siege, and giant mechs clashing for dominance. Whether piloting Inner Sphere heavies or sleek Clan Omnis, the matches showed just how deep and tactical Battletech can be.
New players jumped in with intro mechs from the Battletech: Beginner Box, while veterans fielded entire lances from the Clan Invasion and Mercenaries expansions. Every salvo and heat check told a story — and the crowd loved every moment.

Saturday: Warmachine Returns
Saturday saw the Warmachine community take center stage, with tables full of beautifully painted armies and tactical duels. The excitement around the game’s newest edition continues to build, and our local players are refining lists, testing new strategies, and welcoming curious newcomers.
From Cygnar lightning storms to Khador’s iron-fisted warjacks, the battles were intense and cinematic. We love seeing this game’s resurgence and the passion from our players—thank you all for making the Warmachine scene thrive again in Mt. Zion!
