Zion, Illinois is proud to host its next big tabletop event—The Warmachine Journeyman League, running from August 6 through September 24, 2025. Whether you're a battle-hardened veteran or a brand-new warcaster, this league is built to engage, grow, and reward your passion for miniatures gaming.

🎯 What Is a Journeyman League?

A Journeyman League is a casual-competitive, community-building format for Warmachine. Players accumulate points not only for playing games, but also for painting models, teaching others, and helping promote the game. It's about more than just winning—it's about growing together and celebrating your hobby milestones.

This league is unrated, so there’s no pressure—just pure game-time enjoyment and hobby creativity.

📆 League Schedule & Format

The league is broken into four 2-week segments, with increasing point values:

• Weeks 1–2: 30-point games (no 80mm or 120mm base models)

• Weeks 3–4: 50-point games (no 80mm or 120mm base models)

• Weeks 5–6: 75-point games (no restrictions)

• Weeks 7–8: 100-point games (no restrictions)

There are no assigned pairings—just show up and play as many games as you'd like. You're encouraged to play at The Hidden Lair, but up to 2 games per week can be played at home and still count toward league points.

🧠 How You Score Points

Game Points:

• Earned based on the week’s point level (1–4 pts per game depending on the stage of the league)

Painting Points:

• Earn additional points for painted models and terrain. Everything from solos and units to 120mm monsters contributes!

Bonus Points:

• 🎯 Refer a friend to join: +20 pts

• 🖌 Paint or 3D print terrain for the store: +Points

• 🤝 Teach a demo game to a new player: +5 pts

Not only will top players earn store credit, but everyone gets a party favor just for signing up! Plus, the prize pool scales with attendance. Confirmed prizes already include:
